Positive Discipline is based on the philosophy of Alfred Adler and Rudolf Dreikurs. The core belief lies in mutual respect. Children respect the adults because the adults show a sense of respect to the children that they would to another adult. 

Positive Discipline trainings are taught through experiential exercises that provide opportunities to see new ways of thinking and understanding situations common to all educators and to experience and practice new skills.
